Fort Worth Launches Urgent Initiative for Medical Innovation Hub

UPDATE: Fort Worth is taking a bold step towards becoming a national leader in medical innovation with a crucial panel discussion set for December 2. The event, titled “Candid Conversation: Medical Innovation,” will focus on “Building a Major Medical Innovation Hub,” a key initiative aimed at enhancing the local workforce and improving health outcomes across Tarrant County.

The discussion kicks off at 8:00 a.m. at the TCC Trinity River – Administrative Suite, with breakfast and beverages served starting at 7:30 a.m.. Attendees will gain insights from a panel of esteemed experts, including Dr. Kirk Calhoun, President of UNT Health Fort Worth, and Dr. Tricia Elliott, Senior Vice President of Academic & Research Affairs at JPS Health Network.

Elyse Stoltz Dickerson, CEO and Co-Founder of Eosera, and Dr. Stuart D. Flynn, Founding Dean of the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University, will also contribute their expertise to this pressing dialogue.

This initiative seeks to leverage Fort Worth’s existing strengths, including its concentration of healthcare jobs, major hospitals, and proximity to institutions like the TCU Medical School and UNT Health.
