Country music star Tyler Childers will return to Boulder, Colorado, for a highly anticipated concert at Folsom Field on July 18, 2026. This event, part of his new tour titled “Snipe Hunt,” follows his previous performance at the same venue, which took place on August 17, 2024. The 2024 concert was part of his successful Mule Pull ’24 Tour and sold out quickly, highlighting Childers’ strong appeal at one of Colorado’s largest outdoor venues.
The upcoming show will feature acclaimed artists Jon Batiste and the indie rock band Wednesday as opening acts. Batiste, known for his work as the bandleader on the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” brings a wealth of musical talent, while Wednesday has garnered attention for their innovative sound.
Ticket sales for the concert will begin with an artist pre-sale on December 10, 2024. To access this presale, fans must sign up at tylerchildersmusic.com/pages/tour-dates by 10 a.m. on December 7, 2024. The public sale will commence on December 12, 2024, available through ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
Each ticket sold will contribute one dollar to the Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, which supports philanthropic efforts in the Appalachian region, as well as to Reverb, an organization dedicated to minimizing environmental impacts from live music events. This initiative aims to engage fans and fund carbon impact programs to offset the tour’s unavoidable carbon footprint.
More Concerts on the Horizon
This announcement marks just the beginning of concert plans at Folsom Field. According to CU Athletics, which manages the stadium, Childers’ return adds to a lineup of notable performances held at the venue in recent years, including shows by Dead & Company, Phish, and Odesza. Officials noted, “Next year promises to be another busy year for concerts, with more announcements likely after the New Year.”
Folsom Field has also made headlines for hosting Phish during last summer’s Fourth of July weekend, marking the band’s first-ever performances at the venue. As interest in live music continues to rise, fans can expect a vibrant concert season ahead at this iconic location, which is home to the University of Colorado Buffaloes football team and can accommodate approximately 50,000 attendees.
