Jaya Stacy and Camryn Steining Win MAC Swim Honors Together

In a display of remarkable talent and determination, Bettendorf High School junior Jaya Stacy and Pleasant Valley High School junior Camryn Steining have been jointly awarded the Mississippi Athletic Conference (MAC) Swimmer of the Year honors for the fall season of 2023. Their exceptional performances throughout the season have earned them this prestigious recognition.

Outstanding Performances Stand Out

Both swimmers have demonstrated consistent excellence in their respective events. Stacy, known for her prowess in freestyle and butterfly, secured multiple wins, setting new personal bests along the way. Steining, on the other hand, made a significant impact in the individual medley and backstroke, showcasing her versatility in the pool.

The competition within the MAC was fierce, with numerous athletes vying for top honors. However, Stacy and Steining’s ability to excel under pressure set them apart. Their swims not only contributed to their schools’ success but also inspired their teammates to elevate their performances.
