UPDATE: Eight teams clashed at Baker High School in Baldwinsville on Saturday during the highly anticipated Baldwinsville Wrestling Duals. The event showcased intense competition with teams including Liverpool, Marcellus-Onondaga, Rome Free Academy, and Whitesboro taking to the mat.
The duals featured teams from multiple sections, including Section IV’s Marathon, Section VII’s Northern Adirondack, and Section X’s Ogdensburg. This thrilling tournament drew local wrestling fans eager to support their teams. The Baldwinsville Bees, currently standing at 2-0, are set to advance to Johnstown High School next weekend for the Mountain Duals.
The competition saw Liverpool and RFA both at 1-1, gearing up for the Ken Haines Memorial Tournament at SUNY Oswego on December 27-28. Meanwhile, Marcellus-Onondaga, also at 1-1, is preparing for the Windsor Christmas Tournament on December 29-30. Whitesboro will face off in the Teike-Bernabi Wrestling Tournament at Spencerport High School next Saturday.
