MINISFORUM has unveiled two cutting-edge mini PCs, the AI X1 Pro 470 and the MS-02 Ultra, during a launch event at CES 2026 in Las Vegas on January 6. These compact yet powerful systems are designed to meet the demands of creators, gamers, and remote workers, emphasizing the company’s commitment to high-performance computing without compromises.
The AI X1 Pro 470 is powered by the AMD RyzenTM AI 9 HX470 processor, making it a versatile solution for various applications, from content creation to gaming. It features a dual-microphone array with AI noise reduction and high-quality speakers, facilitating clear communication. The device also includes multiple I/O options, such as USB4, HDMI 2.1, and DP 2.0, which enhance productivity for users working with complex tasks. Content creators can take advantage of up to 12TB of storage, suitable for handling large video files and AI datasets. Gamers will benefit from the RadeonTM 890M GPU, which offers flexibility in VRAM allocation from 2GB to 48GB, enabling smooth gameplay experiences.
The MS-02 Ultra is positioned as an upgrade to the award-winning model MS-02 Ultra-285 HX, which received a CES Innovation Award in 2026. This mini workstation is powered by the Intel® CoreTM Ultra 9 285 HX and supports extensive memory and storage options, including up to 256GB of ECC memory and multiple PCIe slots. Its 4.8 L chassis design allows for easy upgrades and maintenance, appealing to users in engineering design, video editing, and content production.
During the launch event, MINISFORUM’s Chairman, Roy Jiang, emphasized the company’s goal to redefine mini PCs. “With AI X1 Pro 470 and MS-02 Ultra, we set out to prove that ‘mini’ no longer means ‘compromise’,” Jiang stated. The collaboration with AMD and Intel was highlighted, showcasing how these partnerships enhance the productivity and performance of the new systems.
Attendees, including renowned brand store host Reagan Li, participated in live demonstrations that showcased the capabilities of both machines. The AI X1 Pro 470 and MS-02 Ultra are designed to simplify complex tasks, increase real-time performance, and improve overall computing efficiency.
The MS-02 Ultra also stands out in the gaming market, as it now supports high-performance gaming GPUs, making it suitable for both professional workflows and premium gaming experiences. Its robust PCIe bandwidth allows users to enjoy high frame rates and immersive graphics while maintaining stability typically expected of workstation-class devices.
The MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro 470 will be available worldwide soon, while the MS-02 Ultra is priced at $1,199 for the 285 HX Barebone and $839 for the 275 HX Barebone.
