Willmar High School Celebrates January 2026 Students of the Month

Willmar Senior High School in Minnesota has announced its Students of the Month for January 2026. Each month, the school selects one student from various departments based on criteria established by the respective faculties, highlighting the achievements and dedication of its students.

The honored students for January include: Htoo Soe, a senior recognized for his excellence in Ag Technology; Leiah Arends, an 11th grader in the Business department; Kamryn Zwagerman, a ninth grader excelling in English Language Arts; and Jose Galindo Mendoza, an 11th grader from the Math department.

In addition, Way Soe, a ninth grader in the Multilingual program, and HarleyAnn Passa, a senior in Music, received recognition for their outstanding contributions. Other students acknowledged this month include Lizveth Garcia Palma from the Physical Education & Health department, Raya Olson from Science, Marissa Travaglio from Social Studies, and Madalynn Carroll from Studio Art.

Further acknowledgments were given to Dalila Mus Gomez, a senior specializing in Successful Life Strategies; Ashton Setrum, a tenth grader in Technology Education; and Joshua Pena, a senior in World Languages.

The selection of these students reflects the school’s commitment to fostering a diverse environment that encourages academic and personal growth. Each month’s recognition is an integral part of the school’s initiative to celebrate individual achievements while motivating others.
