St. Thomas Triumphs Over Bowling Green 3-2 in Overtime Thriller

URGENT UPDATE: The No. 15 St. Thomas men’s hockey team snatched a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory against Bowling Green on Friday night, thanks to a decisive goal from Nick Williams midway through extra time. This latest win marks the Tommies’ 12th victory in their last 13 games, showcasing their determination and skill on the ice.

The game unfolded dramatically at Bowling Green, where the Tommies faced adversity, trailing twice throughout the contest. Nathan Pilling ignited the scoring for St. Thomas with a power-play goal at 18:33 of the first period, leveling the score at 1-1 as the teams headed into the first intermission.

Just 54 seconds into the second period, Bowling Green regained the lead, making it 2-1, but the Tommies weren’t done yet. Pilling struck again, netting his second power-play goal to tie the game at 2-2 with less than 12 minutes remaining in the period.
