The Frederick Arts Council has unveiled the “Celebrating 50 Years of Creative Community” exhibition, showcasing the talents of over 50 local artists. This significant event will be held from February 9 to April 10, 2026, at the Annapolis Treasury Building, located at 80 Calvert St, Annapolis, MD 21403. The exhibition marks a milestone for the Council, which has played a crucial role in shaping the arts scene in Frederick County for half a century.
Participating artists will explore their individual interpretations and contributions to the vibrant arts culture in Frederick. Louise Kennelly, Executive Director of the Frederick Arts Council, expressed her enthusiasm for the celebration. “We’re delighted to be celebrating this significant milestone of the Frederick Arts Council with a showcase of artists that make a significant impact on the community,” she stated.
