URGENT UPDATE: The much-anticipated KFC spin-off, Saucy! By KFC, is set to launch two new restaurants in the Jacksonville area, igniting excitement for chicken lovers! The first location at 4816 Gate Parkway in The Crossing at St. Johns Town Center opens on March 23, while a second restaurant at 194 N. State Road 13 in Julington Creek is scheduled for April 13.

The Orlando-based chain, a creation of Yum Brands, which also owns KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell, aims to attract customers with its vibrant atmosphere. According to General Manager Andrew Grosshans, “Jacksonville is an exciting next step for us, and opening two locations lets us bring our full experience to the community.”
What to Expect: The Gate Parkway location will feature modern interiors with self-serve kiosks and a convenient drive-thru open until 3 a.m.. The Julington Creek drive-thru will remain open until 1 a.m.. Both restaurants will transform into lively hangouts in the evening, enhancing the dining experience for guests.
Exciting opening celebrations will include special giveaways and complimentary bites at both locations. The Gate Parkway restaurant will kick off its opening at 11 a.m. on March 23, offering free samples while supplies last. Additionally, a Saucy Soirée Party is set for April 11, featuring a Sauce Bar led by a Sauce Sommelier, a live DJ, and interactive games.
The Julington Creek location will also provide special giveaways and bites starting at 11 a.m. on April 13, ensuring that the community gets a taste of Saucy! as it opens its doors.
Since its debut in December 2024, Saucy! has quickly expanded, with six locations now operating in Florida and ten more planned for this year. The new restaurants in Jacksonville represent a significant investment, with the Gate Parkway buildout estimated at $410,000 and the Julington Creek site at $375,000.
