British WWE Fan Found Dead in Las Vegas After Vanishing During WrestleMania Weekend
Marc Izard, a 43-year-old British wrestling fan, was found dead in a Las Vegas motel after disappearing during WWE’s WrestleMania weekend, authorities and his family confirmed.
The die-hard fan passed away on April 18 inside a room at the Oasis Motel, located at 1731 South Las Vegas Boulevard, about five miles north of the T-Mobile Arena, where WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown took place.
Las Vegas coroner officials ruled his death due to natural causes related to underlying medical conditions, according to statements from Izard’s sister, Kelly Hall, and family posts online.
Last Seen at WWE Events Before Disappearance
Izard was last publicly seen on April 16 attending a book signing for Canadian WWE star Natalya “Nattie” Neidhart at the Horseshoe Las Vegas. The next night, he was spotted at SmackDown inside the T-Mobile Arena before vanishing.
He had planned to fly back to the United Kingdom after the wrestling-packed weekend, but family members lost contact when he failed to board his return flight.
Wrestling blog Perched on the Top Rope created a missing person poster circulated widely by the wrestling community, including Neidhart, who called for help locating Izard.
Tributes Pour In From Wrestling World as Family Mourns
Following confirmation of his death, Neidhart expressed heartbreak over losing one of her dedicated fans, highlighting the emotional bond the wrestling community shares.
“Hearing about the passing of someone from our wrestling family, Marc Izard, is heartbreaking. Wrestling brings people together in such a special way… My thoughts are with Marc’s family, friends, and everyone who loved him,” she wrote on X.
Izard’s family shared photos celebrating his lifelong passion for wrestling, showing him alongside legends such as John Cena, Hulk Hogan, and The Undertaker. They described him as a beloved member of the wrestling fan community whose life revolved around his devotion to the sport.
Family Seeks Support to Bring Izard Home
In their GoFundMe appeal, Kelly Hall explained the family’s devastation yet took comfort in knowing Marc passed doing what he loved—attending WWE events.
They are raising funds to transport Izard’s remains back to the UK, thanking the global wrestling community and everyone who contributed to the search and supported their family during the ordeal.
