Charlotte Police Seize Guns, Drugs in Traffic Stops; Three Arrested

Anthony Sanchez Carter, age 36, was arrested and faces serious charges, including possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver MDMA, felony possession of marijuana, and resisting an officer.

The following day, on October 13, 2023, another traffic stop near the 1300 block of W. Sugar Creek Road led to the arrest of Hailey Jade Woelk-Snyder, 23. Officers found her in possession of approximately 30 grams of suspected cocaine. She now faces multiple charges, including trafficking a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In a separate incident on October 16, 2023, police stopped Jamerson Lamont Bobo, 45, in the 6500 block of N. Tryon Street for an expired and fictitious paper registration plate. A search of his vehicle revealed about 21 grams of suspected cocaine and a stolen firearm. Bobo is now facing several charges, including possession of a stolen firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
