Cwm LLC Reduces Stake in Vanguard Intermediate-Term Bond ETF
Cwm LLC has reduced its stake in the Vanguard Intermediate-Term Bond ETF (NYSEARCA: BIV) by 6.2% during the second quarter of 2023. According to data from Holdings Channel, the firm now holds 9,056 shares after selling 603 shares within this period. The value of Cwm LLC’s investment in the Vanguard fund was approximately $700,000 at the end of the most recent reporting quarter.
Other institutional investors have also adjusted their holdings in the Vanguard Intermediate-Term Bond ETF. For instance, Principal Financial Group Inc. increased its ownership by 23.6% in the first quarter, acquiring an additional 22,221 shares. This brings their total to 116,445 shares, valued at around $8,916,000.
San Luis Wealth Advisors LLC made a significant move by boosting its stake by 35.6% in the second quarter, now holding 135,242 shares worth approximately $10,460,000 following a purchase of 35,497 shares. Similarly, GAMMA Investing LLC reported a 43.4% increase in shares during the first quarter, now owning 99,433 shares valued at $7,614,000 after adding 30,080 shares.
Mustard Seed Financial LLC also expanded its position in the Vanguard ETF by 4.1%, bringing its total to 127,802 shares, which are worth about $9,884,000 after purchasing an additional 5,038 shares. Furthermore, Patton Albertson Miller Group LLC increased its holdings by 3.6% in the second quarter, now owning 85,104 shares valued at $6,582,000 after acquiring 2,984 shares.
The Vanguard Intermediate-Term Bond ETF, which opened at $78.67 on Friday, has experienced a slight decrease of 0.2% in its stock price. Over the past year, the ETF has seen a low of $73.72 and a high of $78.91. The fund’s 50-day simple moving average stands at $78.09, while its 200-day simple moving average is $76.97.
The Vanguard Intermediate-Term Bond ETF aims to track the performance of a market-weighted bond index, featuring an intermediate-term, dollar-weighted average maturity. This fund employs a passive management strategy designed to follow the Barclays Capital U.S. 5-10 Year Government/Credit Bond Index.
