Fellini Coffee is set to open a new location at 1335 Lexington Avenue on the Upper East Side, marking the brand’s sixth venue in New York City. Founded by Franco Noriega in 2023, the coffee shop combines a daytime café atmosphere with a vibrant wine and cocktail bar in the evening.
The new Upper East Side location joins existing establishments in SoHo, Chelsea, the Meatpacking District, the West Village, and the Upper West Side. According to details shared at a recent Community Board 8 meeting, the café will feature five tables accommodating eleven patrons and an eight-seat bar.
Fellini Coffee aims to offer a unique experience that caters to both coffee lovers and evening socializers. The menu includes signature drinks such as the Dolce Vita and Tiramisu lattes, alongside a selection of juices, cold beverages, and food items like croissant sandwiches and pastries. The brand markets itself as more than just a café, emphasizing its role as a lifestyle destination.
“By day, it’s your cozy escape for great coffee. By night, Fellini transforms into a warm, vibrant gathering spot for wine, music, and connection,” the Fellini website states. This dual function is designed to appeal to a diverse clientele looking for a quick espresso or a leisurely evening out.
Operating hours for the new location will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, though an exact opening date has yet to be confirmed. As Fellini Coffee continues to grow, it aims to establish itself as a go-to spot for both residents and visitors on the Upper East Side.
With its innovative approach to blending coffee culture with a lively bar scene, Fellini Coffee is poised to make a significant impact in this busy neighborhood. As the opening date approaches, local coffee enthusiasts and wine lovers alike are eager to see what this new venue has to offer.
