Luana Ann Church has been appointed as the new Vice President of Development, Acquisitions & Distribution at Quebecor, effective immediately. This announcement came from Pierre Karl Péladeau, the President and CEO of Quebecor, on November 20, 2025. In her new role, Church will oversee content acquisition and distribution, alongside international development for Quebecor Content, Incendo, and TVA Films.
Church has been with Quebecor since 2011, where her contributions have significantly supported the growth of the Corporation and its subsidiaries. Previously serving as Senior Legal Director, she was instrumental in handling various strategic projects, particularly in areas related to intellectual property and international content partnerships. Notably, she played a key role in acquiring popular formats for TVA Group, including the successful show The Voice, and in promoting original Quebec productions like Révolution on the global stage.
Leadership Transition and Strategic Vision
Péladeau expressed confidence in Church’s capabilities, stating, “The strength and quality of our content has always been a great source of pride and a key business priority for our company.” He emphasized that her extensive experience at Quebecor positions her well to navigate the challenges faced by the media industry, particularly during this period of rapid transformation.
Church succeeds Yann Paquet, who announced his departure earlier in the year. She has articulated her enthusiasm for the new role, saying, “It is with great pride that I accept this role. It is an opportunity to take on a new challenge in an industry that I have come to know through my career at Quebecor.” She is eager to leverage her knowledge and the support of her teams to enhance the reach and value of Quebecor’s content in both local and international markets.
