Actress Moon Choi has signed with Cognition for management following her acclaimed performance in the film Bedford Park, which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The film, directed by Stephanie Ahn, garnered the U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award for Debut Feature and was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics for North American distribution.
In Bedford Park, Choi plays the lead role of Audrey, a Korean-American woman grappling with the trauma of her abusive childhood. The narrative takes a poignant turn when an accident involving her mother compels Audrey to return to her parents’ home, where she encounters the man responsible for her past pain, portrayed by Son Sokku. Their unexpected relationship evolves into a deep connection, exploring themes of healing and love.
Choi, previously recognized for her role as Fumiko Kaneko in the historical drama Anarchist from Colony, has received multiple accolades for her performances. This includes winning Best New Actress and Best Actress at the Grand Bell Awards, which is considered Korea’s equivalent to the Academy Award. Additionally, she was honored as Actress of the Year for her work in the film Our Body at the Busan Film Festival.

Currently, Choi is starring alongside acclaimed actress Jeon Do-Yeon, a winner of the Cannes Best Actress award, and Park Hae-Soo from the hit series Squid Game. They are part of a Korean adaptation of The Cherry Orchard, a classic play by Anton Chekhov, directed by Simon Stone.
In addition to her management deal with Cognition, Choi has also signed with Narrative for publicity. Founded by former WME partner Brian DePersia in 2022, Cognition represents a diverse roster of talent, including notable figures such as Mahershala Ali, Caitríona Balfe, and Tobias Menzies.
