Paris Baguette Expands North Bay Presence with New Locations

Paris Baguette, a global bakery chain based in New Jersey, has announced plans to open two new locations in California’s North Bay region over the next year. This expansion will enhance the brand’s presence in Marin and Solano counties, where it currently operates a store at 150 Steele Lane in Santa Rosa.

The first new location in Novato will be situated at 15 Rowland Way. Construction is already underway, and Krystie Keith, the director of franchise development, indicated that this shop is expected to open during the summer of 2024. The second location will be in Vallejo at 1178 Admiral Callaghan Lane, with an anticipated opening in 2027.

Paris Baguette was founded in 1988 and is owned by South Korea’s SPC Group. The bakery specializes in a variety of French-inspired products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. It operates over 4,000 locations worldwide, with a significant presence in North America. In 2025, the company reported the opening of 77 new bakery cafés and executed more than 100 leases, reflecting its robust growth trajectory.

The brand’s commitment to expansion is further highlighted by its ranking as No. 29 on the Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500® list for 2026, where it holds the top position in the Bakery Café category. Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette, expressed the company’s dedication to growth in a statement to PR Newsweek, emphasizing the aim to reestablish the neighborhood bakery café as a central hub for communities across the nation.

As Paris Baguette continues to make strides in the North Bay area, it is poised to enhance local dining options and cater to the growing demand for high-quality bakery products. The forthcoming openings in Novato and Vallejo represent a significant milestone in the company’s strategy to deepen its roots in the American market.
