Following a transfer on January 7, 2026, from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Sandstone in Minnesota, he will be subject to strict conditions until his official release on November 8, 2026, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
During this period of community confinement, Fetty Wap will be monitored by the BOP’s Philadelphia Residential Reentry Management Office. Although the confinement is temporary, it marks the beginning of a stringent five-year supervision phase that he must adhere to upon completion of his home confinement.
The rapper will have several important obligations during this time. He will be required to undergo regular drug testing and is prohibited from opening any new bank accounts without prior approval from federal agents. Additionally, Fetty Wap must report his earnings and tax information to the U.S. Probation Department. His restrictions extend to the consumption of alcohol and other intoxicants unless prescribed by a licensed physician.
