MrBeast to Launch “Beast Land” Theme Park in Saudi Arabia

MrBeast, the popular YouTuber known for his extravagant giveaways and challenges, has announced the launch of a theme park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The park, named “Beast Land,” is set to open on November 13 and will remain operational until December 27. This temporary attraction promises unique experiences modeled after the creator’s viral videos.

In a tweet on Thursday, Donaldson shared his enthusiasm, stating, “Next week Beast Land our brand new theme park opens!!!!” He described the park as featuring custom games that will not be found anywhere else, along with what he claims will be the “world’s largest prize wall.” Alongside this announcement, he released renderings of the park, which included undisclosed features represented by white boxes.

Among the attractions, Donaldson highlighted a game called “Tower Siege,” where participants use real catapults to launch balls into towering 60-foot tubes to score points. Another attraction, named “Drop Zone,” invites six contestants to stand on trap doors that open based on their reaction times to illuminated buttons. The last player standing wins the highest score.

For thrill-seekers, the park will also feature “Airmail,” a zip-line game where players aim to drop a weighted bag onto a target below. Donaldson expressed his desire to create an experience that differs from traditional theme parks, stating, “I didn’t want this to be like a typical theme park… Tons of original games created plus of course we have rollercoasters and rides.”

The pricing structure for entry reflects a range of options. General admission tickets will be available for approximately $7, but this does not grant access to the games. Higher-tier tickets, which allow for gameplay, are expected to cost around $66, according to reports from Dexerto.

Despite the excitement surrounding the park, social media users have raised questions about the choice of Saudi Arabia as a location. Many of these inquiries stem from the country’s controversial history regarding human rights. High-profile entertainers have faced similar scrutiny for performing in the region, particularly during events such as the Riyadh Comedy Festival.

In response to the questions, Donaldson noted that Saudi Arabia is centrally located, making it accessible to a large portion of his audience, which includes a significant fan base in the Middle East. He stated, “I wanted to give them a chance to participate!” His comment, however, has sparked some confusion, as calling Saudi Arabia the “middle of the world” lacks geographical accuracy.

MrBeast’s financial standing is notable, with estimates suggesting his net worth exceeds $1 billion. While some sources, such as Celebrity Net Worth, provide these figures, others like Forbes have not confirmed such claims. Regardless of the exact amount, his ventures, including the new theme park, are likely to generate substantial revenue, following a trend observed with other American entertainers who have performed in the region.

As anticipation builds for the opening of Beast Land, it remains to be seen how this unique theme park will resonate with visitors and address the complexities surrounding its location.
