Netflix Unveils Knives Out Video Game Ahead of Film Spin-off

Netflix has revealed plans to launch several new video games on its platform this holiday season, including one inspired by the popular Knives Out franchise. Titled Dead Man’s Party: A Knives Out Game, the game features the renowned detective Benoit Blanc, who players will control as they attempt to unravel a mystery.

In an official announcement, Netflix described the gameplay, stating, “It’s up to you to deduce what happened and convince everyone you’re not the killer. Or, if you are, you’ve got to keep Blanc off your tail and make sure you influence the vote so you don’t get outed.” This interactive approach invites players to immerse themselves in the world of Knives Out, blending mystery-solving with social deception.

While no specific release date has been provided for Dead Man’s Party, Netflix has confirmed that it is “coming soon.” This addition to the gaming lineup coincides with the upcoming film Knives Out 3, officially titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, which is set to debut on Netflix in December 2025. Before its streaming release, fans will have the opportunity to watch the film in select theaters, starting from November 26, 2025.

Leading the cast of Knives Out 3 is Daniel Craig, reprising his role as the charismatic detective. Joining him are an ensemble of talent, including Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.

As Netflix continues to expand its gaming portfolio, the launch of Dead Man’s Party reflects the growing trend of merging film and gaming experiences, allowing fans to engage with their favorite franchises in new ways. The anticipation for both the game and the film underscores the cultural impact of the Knives Out series and its ability to captivate audiences across multiple platforms.
