Tift Theatre Invites Singers to Audition for Masked Singer Contest

The Tift Theatre in Tifton, Georgia, is set to host auditions for its highly anticipated second edition of the Masked Singer competition. Scheduled for January 6 and 8, 2026, from 17:30 to 19:00, the theatre invites local singers aged sixteen and older to showcase their vocal talents for a chance to perform on stage later this year.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, which took place around Valentine’s Day, the theatre has decided to bring back the contest, inspired by the popular reality television show. The first edition featured a variety of costumed contestants performing love songs and personal favorites, with audience support determining who advanced through the competition. The positive feedback from participants and spectators alike has encouraged theatre manager Kezia Larry to organize this year’s event in a similar fashion.

The upcoming auditions will allow aspiring performers to sing their chosen love song, without the need for a costume at this stage. However, if selected to participate in the main event, the theatre will assist contestants in providing costumes. The competition will culminate in a lively performance where contestants will not only entertain the audience but also impress a panel of judges, including last year’s winner, for a chance to win a grand trophy.

For those interested in auditioning, further details can be obtained by contacting the Tift Theatre at (229) 386-5150. This event promises to be an exciting opportunity for local talent, continuing the theatre’s commitment to celebrating the arts within the community.
