Melba M. Bronson, a cherished resident of Coleman, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on November 27, 1939, she was the daughter of Jasper and Edna Bronson, who instilled in her the values of family and community that she carried throughout her life.
A lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Oxford, Melba was known not only for her deep faith but also for her nurturing spirit. Often referred to as “Memaw,” she dedicated herself to caring for her family, who adored her. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

Melba’s passions included crocheting, gardening, and birdwatching, activities she enjoyed from her favorite rocking chair outdoors. She had a remarkable talent for carpentry, crafting chicken coops, sheds, and porches that showcased her creativity and resourcefulness.
