Gilbert D. Hepler, a cherished resident of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Greenfield, he was the son of Donald and Bernice Hepler. Gilbert’s dedication extended beyond his family; he served with pride in the Iowa Air National Guard, embodying a spirit of service that marked his life.
Hepler was a devoted family man, remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family includes his wife, Wanda Kay Hepler, daughter Vickie Hepler, and grandson Dylan Ritter. He is also survived by his brother Keith Hepler and his wife, Cleta. Tragically, he was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Leslie Ritter.

In addition to his family, Gilbert was an active member of his community. He enjoyed various hobbies, including golfing, fishing, boating, and engaging in home improvement projects. His contributions extended to numerous organizations, including the Elks Lodge and the Masons, reflecting his commitment to community service and fellowship.
