Community Celebrations and Events Unfold in South Schuylkill

The South Schuylkill region gears up for a series of community events this December, offering residents a variety of festive activities and opportunities for connection. From holiday concerts to craft fairs, the calendar is packed with engaging events for all ages.

Upcoming Holiday Events

The Blue Mountain Class of 1959 holds its monthly meeting on the third Wednesday of each month at 3Cs Restaurant along Route 61. For more details, contact Shirley Moser at 717-445-4885.

The Coffee House Cabaret on December 5 at 19:00 will showcase the SchuylGurls, an a cappella group known for their jazzy interpretations of holiday classics. Outdoor enthusiasts should note that all trails at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary will be closed on December 6, 7, and 13 due to deer hunting season. Other trails will be closed from December 1-5 and December 8-12, with the exception of the main Lookout Trail.
