The original desktop rig, primarily serving as a workstation and gaming machine, featured an Intel Core i7-10700K processor and an EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 graphics card. While the graphics card is considered high-end for this particular setup, the owner decided to repurpose it for its impressive capabilities rather than retiring it entirely. This decision allowed them to maintain significant gaming performance, including the ability to run games at 4K 60FPS.
Choosing the Right Components and Aesthetic
The owner retained most of the original components, including an ASUS Prime motherboard, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. However, selecting an appropriate case was crucial.
