Joe Rogan Proposes Trump’s Bold Move Against Gavin Newsom
Conservative podcaster Joe Rogan has suggested a provocative strategy for Donald Trump to confront his political rival, California Governor Gavin Newsom. During a recent episode of *The Joe Rogan Experience*, Rogan, alongside U.K. comedian Francis Foster and political commentator Konstantin Kasin, shared his thoughts on the current social climate and Trump’s potential future in politics.
Rogan pointed out a significant shift in societal dynamics, attributing it to events such as the pandemic and the protests surrounding the Black Lives Matter movement. He expressed concern over the current state of affairs in California, stating, “There’s something that happened because of the pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests and the riots… it’s like it hit societal global warming where it’s time to move north. Like, this is a bad climate now. It sucks.”
In a bold suggestion, Rogan proposed that Trump should consider running for Governor of California after his second term concludes in 2029. “What Donald Trump should do is when he leaves the office is run for Governor of California and just take over California and fix it,” Rogan stated. He added humorously that it would be “one of the funniest things of all time” if the 82-year-old former president were to assume such a role, claiming, “We’re gonna fix everything. You’ve got a problem with water. I know how to get the water.”
Rogan’s commentary on Trump’s aggressive rhetoric towards his opponents also sparked discussion. During a memorial for right-wing broadcaster Charlie Kirk, Trump stated that he held a dislike for his adversaries, declaring, “I hate my opponent. And I don’t want the best for them.” Rogan openly disagreed with this sentiment, calling Trump “a nut” on his podcast last week.
The tension between Newsom and Trump intensified as the California governor responded to Trump’s recent threats to deploy federal agents to San Francisco. Newsom took to social media, characterizing Trump’s actions as reminiscent of “the dictator’s handbook.” He criticized Trump’s claims regarding rising crime rates, labeling them as “fictitious.”
On social media, Newsom further mocked Trump by proposing a “signature series” of knee pads for CEOs, joking about their submission to Trump’s leadership. He remarked, “I’ll be sending out for all these CEOs… for bending their knee,” referencing the perceived capitulation to Trump’s influence. The governor concluded with a pointed message in all-caps, highlighting his disdain for what he views as historical revisionism by Trump.
As the political landscape continues to evolve, both Rogan’s commentary and Newsom’s responses illustrate the ongoing rivalry and the high stakes involved in American politics. Rogan’s suggestion for Trump to run for governor may remain speculative, but it underscores the complex interplay between celebrity, politics, and public sentiment in California and beyond.
