Louise Medina, a cherished member of the San Pedro community, passed away peacefully at her home on November 26, 2025, at the age of 83. Her family, including her husband, Ralph Medina, and children, gathered to remember her life and contributions to their lives and the community.
Louise is survived by her daughter Julie Alesso and her husband Dave Alesso, as well as her son John Medina and his wife Yvette Medina. She leaves behind three grandchildren: Taylor Licouris, Madison Alesso, and Christian Medina. Her family described her as a loving and devoted matriarch who brought joy to those around her.
A visitation will be held at McNerney’s Mortuary on December 3 from 5 PM to 8 PM, allowing friends and family to pay their respects. A Funeral Mass will follow on December 4 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church, where many will gather to celebrate her life and legacy. Following the service, burial will be private.
