On October 10, twenty residents from Unit 42 participated in a lively cornhole tournament, showcasing their skills and camaraderie at the local courts. The event took place under favorable weather conditions, with rain holding off until after the competition concluded.
The tournament concluded with Venita and Dennis Ransom emerging as the champions, earning a gift certificate from SaddleBrooke HOA-2 as a reward for their efforts. The friendly atmosphere and competitive spirit made the event enjoyable for all participants.
Following the matches, players gathered for a communal dinner in the MountainView East Room. This gathering provided an opportunity for residents to socialize and celebrate their shared experiences. The sense of community among attendees highlighted the importance of such events in fostering connections among residents.
Plans are already underway for a potluck dinner scheduled for December 12 at the HOA-2 Activity Center. This upcoming event aims to bring residents together once again, reinforcing the bonds built through friendly competition and shared meals.
As the community continues to engage in these activities, residents are encouraged to participate and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere.
