UPDATE: The highly anticipated Annual Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show is moving to a new location this year, promising even more holiday cheer and convenient shopping for attendees. The event will take place at Houghton Elementary and Chocksett Middle Schools in Sterling, MA, on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This year’s show features over 50 vendors, showcasing a variety of handmade gift items crafted by talented local artisans. With ample parking and expanded space, shoppers can expect to find high-quality holiday goods filling the cafeterias of both schools.
“Due to its growing popularity, we are excited to welcome even more artists and craftspeople to our new venue,” said Beth Cyr, chairperson of the craft fair. The event, traditionally held at the First Church in Sterling, has transformed into a beloved community gathering.
Returning favorites will include unique alpaca products, aromatherapy items, beach glass art, and handmade jewelry. New vendors this year will introduce exciting offerings such as maple syrup, custom pet portraits, and vintage teacup candles.
The event will also feature beloved traditions including a bake sale, cheese sale, raffle, and lunch café, promising a festive atmosphere for all attendees. Admission is just $2, with proceeds supporting vital programs at the Conant Public Library. Shoppers will receive a “Passport” stamped at three locations for a chance to win a special prize.
As the event approaches, organizer Beth Cyr confirmed that though vendor spaces are currently full, interested artisans can join the waiting list by emailing [email protected].
