Filming at CBS Stages Mississauga in Toronto, Ontario, the cast and crew have been working tirelessly throughout the fall, aiming for completion by December 2025. Just days ago, Mount posted a lively video on his Instagram, wishing fans a Happy Thanksgiving while leaving his trailer to report for duty. He even took a moment to hug co-star Jess Bush, showcasing the camaraderie on set before joining director Chris Fisher.

Despite the Thanksgiving holiday, Mount and his American colleagues are dedicated to wrapping up filming. Notably, Canadian Thanksgiving was celebrated back in October, prompting this unusual work schedule.

In a candid moment shared at the recent Creation Entertainment’s ST: CHI – Trek to Chicago convention, co-star Christina Chong expressed the bittersweet nature of nearing the end of production, stating, “We are just almost finishing. We’re about to start shooting the last episode of Strange New Worlds. How crazy is that?”

Fans can look forward to more adventures, as Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has already been renewed for a fifth season, expected to air in 2027. Additionally, a fourth season is slated for release in 2026, promising a total of 16 new episodes to come.
