Brassfield Estate Winery Announces Exceptional 2025 Harvest Success

UPDATE: Brassfield Estate Winery in Clearlake Oaks, California, has just announced the successful completion of its 2025 harvest season. The winery, recognized as a leading voice in Northern California, reports that this year’s cooler temperatures and steady growing conditions have resulted in an exceptional vintage of wines.

Harvest commenced slightly later than usual, kicking off with Sauvignon Blanc from the estate’s High Serenity Ranch and wrapping up by mid-October with Cabernet Franc. Yields were promising, averaging approximately four tons per acre across the winery’s 500 acres, marking a slight increase from 2024.

According to Jonathan Walters, VP of Vineyard and Winemaking Operations, the standout varietal is the Cabernet Sauvignon, which is exhibiting remarkable color and tannin. “Cabernet is shaping up to be the quality leader of this harvest,” Walters stated, highlighting the elegant tannins and vibrant acidity resulting from the cooler climate.

“The 2025 vintage is shaping up to be iconic,” notes Chris Baker, President of Brassfield Estate Winery. “We are so excited to share this vintage with you,” added Walters.

The winery’s Sauvignon Blanc, now fully fermented, is ready for bottling, featuring bright aromatics and a mineral balance that reflects the purity of the fruit harvested under 2025’s optimal conditions.

This year’s harvest underscores Brassfield Estate Winery’s commitment to crafting wines that honor the unique terroir of the High Valley AVA, an area known for its high-elevation, volcanic soil. The conditions have allowed for the development of wines that embody exceptional quality, depth, and distinction.

Brassfield Estate Winery invites wine enthusiasts and visitors to explore their offerings, as the 2025 vintage promises to capture the essence of their striking vineyard landscape. As the winery gears up for the upcoming bottling and distribution, wine lovers can expect to experience this remarkable vintage soon.
