Guam’s Colorful Bubble Run Kicks Off Weekend of Community Spirit

UPDATE: Guam is set for an exciting weekend as the 2025 Triple J Bubble Color Run kicks off on Saturday, November 11, followed by the 4th Annual Veterans 5K Run and Walk on Sunday, November 12. These events promise both fun and a meaningful impact on the local community.

The vibrant Triple J Bubble Color Run will commence with a lively atmosphere on Saturday. Participants can expect a flurry of color and bubbles as they take part in either the 5K or 10K races. The festivities begin at 5:15 a.m., with the race officially starting at 6 a.m. at the Triple J Showroom in Upper Tumon. Registration is available for $15 for the 5K (increases to $20 on race day) and $20 for the 10K (increases to $25 on race day). Families can register a group of four for just $50.

Proceeds from the event will support critical local charities, including Guam Cancer Care, Safe Haven Pregnancy Center, and Bake Their Day, making this event not just colorful but impactful. On Sunday, the focus shifts to honoring the veteran community with the 4th Annual Veterans 5K Run and Walk, organized by I Hinanao, I Magahet, Yan I Ininna, HMI. The event is set to start at 5 p.m., with participants encouraged to arrive by 4 p.m. at the CHamoru Village in Hagåtña. The first 200 finishers will receive commemorative shirts, adding an extra incentive to participate. In addition to these races, HMI is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Veterans Gala on November 15, which will take place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort.
