UPDATE: Louis Vuitton has just unveiled its breathtaking 2025 holiday campaign, titled ‘Le Voyage des Lumières’, capturing the essence of light and celebration. This innovative campaign, directed by acclaimed photographer Jonas Lindstroem, features a travel-inspired film that transports viewers from the brand’s workshops near Paris to a mesmerizing snowscape illuminated by northern lights.
The film showcases a monogrammed lantern journeying through enchanting scenes, including people playing backgammon and dancing around a campfire next to a Music Trunk with a record turntable. The climax reveals a vibrant display of lanterns floating above the Paris skyline, as a mother and child gaze in awe from the historic Pont Neuf bridge. This evocative imagery coincides with the traditional Yi Peng lantern festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where thousands are releasing floating rice paper lanterns into the night sky as offerings to the Buddha.
The campaign marks only the second collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Lindstroem, who previously worked on the Tambour Street Diver watch campaign in 2023. The holiday ads prominently feature iconic handbag styles including the black My Capucines and red Speedy P9, along with the Monogram canvas Side Trunk and Christopher backpack.
Starting on November 1, the campaign will include exclusive pop-ups across various locations. A notable event will take place at the TRX mall in Kuala Lumpur from November 27 to January 4, followed by another at the Westfield shopping center in Sydney, opening on November 18 until the end of December.
The stunning holiday visuals will also inspire window displays worldwide. These displays will feature a midnight-blue backdrop decorated with vibrant Chinese lantern illuminations, trunks, and floral motifs drawn from the Monogram canvas, creating a magical atmosphere for shoppers everywhere.
