UPDATE: Get ready for a magical evening as the Townsend Public Library hosts a special “Nutcracker Ballet Story Time” on Tuesday, November 25, 2023, at 6 p.m. Families are invited to experience the enchanting world of “The Nutcracker” brought to life by talented dancers from the North Central Youth Ballet (NCYB).
This captivating event will take place at the library located at 12 Dudley Road. Attendees can expect an engaging performance featuring beautiful, festive costumes, while a narrator recites the beloved holiday story, making it a must-see for children and families.
The North Central Youth Ballet, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering young talent, will showcase dazzling routines from their upcoming production. Directors Karen Brown and Megan Simisky lead the company, uniting dancers from various studios in the community.

Following the story time, the NCYB will perform full productions of “The Nutcracker” on stage at North Middlesex Regional High School on Friday, December 5, at 6 p.m., and twice on Saturday, December 6, at noon and 6 p.m.
