Pertamina Adjusts Fuel Prices in Indonesia as of March 15, 2026

PT Pertamina has announced significant adjustments to fuel prices effective March 15, 2026. This change follows the issuance of the Ministerial Decision (Kepmen) ESDM Number 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022, which modifies the earlier Kepmen Number 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the pricing formula for retail sales of various fuel types.

The latest announcement revealed an increase in the prices of all non-subsidized fuels, including the Pertamax Series and the Dex Series. Despite these increases, the prices for subsidized fuels such as Biosolar and Pertalite remain unchanged, continuing at Rp6,800 and Rp10,000 per liter, respectively.

New Fuel Pricing Across Regions

In the Jabodetabek area, as well as in Java, Bali, and West Nusa Tenggara, the price of Pertamax has risen to Rp12,300 per liter, up from Rp11,800. Pertamax Turbo now costs Rp13,100, an increase from the previous Rp12,700 per liter. Pertamax Green 95 has also seen a price increase, now set at Rp12,900, up from Rp12,450 per liter.

Additionally, diesel fuel prices are affected as well. Dexlite’s price has risen to Rp14,200, a jump from Rp13,250 per liter, while Pertamina Dex has increased to Rp14,500 per liter from Rp13,500.

This adjustment in fuel prices reflects ongoing economic factors and regulatory decisions impacting the energy sector in Indonesia. The changes are expected to influence both consumers and businesses, particularly in transportation and logistics.

As fuel prices fluctuate, PT Pertamina continues to monitor market conditions and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and meet the energy needs of the nation. The company’s pricing strategy is guided by government policies aimed at balancing consumer affordability with operational costs.
