The star-studded event will also feature performances from the K-Pop trio EJAE, along with Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, marking their first live performance outside the United States. British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware will pay tribute to Barbra Streisand during the In Memoriam segment.
BAFTA Fellowship and Major Nominations
The BAFTA Fellowship, the organization’s highest honor, will be awarded to Donna Langley, chair of NBCUniversal Entertainment, in recognition of her significant contributions to the film, games, and television sectors. Meanwhile, Clare Binns, the creative director of Picturehouse Cinemas and Picturehouse Entertainment, will receive the award for outstanding British contribution to cinema.
Leading the nominations this year is Gillian Anderson‘s political thriller One Battle After Another, which has secured 14 nominations. It narrowly surpasses Ryan Coogler‘s vampire film Sinners, which received 13 nods. Other notable contenders include Chloé Zhao‘s emotional drama Hamnet and Josh Safdie‘s comedic film Marty Supreme, both of which received 11 nominations each. Joachim Trier‘s Sentimental Value and Guillermo del Toro‘s gothic adaptation of Frankenstein garnered eight nominations each.
