Joe Wicks, the renowned British fitness coach and entrepreneur, has signed a representation agreement with WME, one of the leading global talent agencies. Known widely as “The Body Coach,” Wicks has built a significant brand in health and fitness, cultivating an extensive online community and achieving remarkable sales in his cookbook series.
Wicks first garnered attention by sharing 15-second recipe videos on social media platforms. Over time, he transformed his brand into one of the most followed fitness accounts on both Instagram and YouTube. His award-winning Body Coach app, launched in 2020, is now among the U.K.’s premier platforms aimed at guiding individuals of all ages and fitness levels toward healthier lifestyles.
As an author, Wicks has sold over 5 million cookbooks, including the popular “Lean in 15” series and various other titles. His popularity surged during the COVID-19 pandemic when he hosted “PE With Joe,” a daily live workout on YouTube that attracted millions of participants. One of these sessions was recognized by Guinness World Records for having the “most viewers for a fitness workout live stream on YouTube,” with more than 950,000 viewers tuning in.
In addition to his fitness initiatives, Wicks undertook a remarkable challenge in 2020 when he completed a 24-hour workout, raising over £2 million (approximately $2.6 million) for Children in Need. His contributions to fitness and charity earned him an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire).
Wicks continues to broaden his impact across various media, including television, digital content, publishing, and live events. His latest project, an animated children’s fitness series titled “Activate,” aims to inspire youth to engage in physical activity. Moreover, he is active in philanthropic endeavors through the Body Coach Foundation.
With WME representing him across all areas, Wicks is poised to expand his influence even further, continuing to promote health and fitness on a global scale.
