The Detroit Lakes dance team delivered a commendable performance at the Monticello Invitational on January 24, 2024, concluding their regular season. The Lakers earned a fourth place finish in the jazz category with a total of 11 ranking points and secured sixth place in high kick, amassing 16.5 ranking points.
Sauk Rapids-Rice dominated both categories, finishing first with an impressive 3 ranking points. In the high kick competition, the Lakers accumulated 299 total points, while the jazz team achieved 332 total points.
