Art Lab Thursdays Launches Creative Space for Kids Starting January 29

URGENT UPDATE: Starting January 29, Fort Worth will welcome Art Lab Thursdays, a dynamic after-school program designed to unleash creativity in children aged 6 to 12. This initiative by Panther City Artists promises a nurturing environment where kids can explore various art materials and express themselves without the pressure of perfection.

Each session, running every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, kicks off with a brief guided introduction followed by open studio time. Young artists will have the chance to paint, build, draw, and sculpt, all while receiving support and encouragement from experienced instructors. The focus is clear: it’s about the journey of creation, not just the end product.

Parents will appreciate the flexibility of the program, with options for $25 drop-in per session or a $95 monthly membership covering four Thursdays. This drop-off program allows children to immerse themselves in art while parents can manage their schedules without hassle.

Not only does Art Lab Thursdays aim to foster artistic skills, but it also prioritizes building confidence and joy through making. The atmosphere encourages children to engage with their creativity, offering activities like paint & mixed media, clay & sculpture, drawing & mark-making, and collage & building materials.

This innovative program is part of Panther City Artists, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inclusive, process-based art education in Fort Worth. Their mission emphasizes creativity over comparison, ensuring every child feels valued in their artistic endeavors.

As the launch date approaches, parents are encouraged to secure their spots and take advantage of the early registration options. Register online at www.panthercityartists.org to ensure your child doesn’t miss out on this opportunity to explore their artistic potential.

Don’t wait—join the excitement and give your child the gift of creativity!
