BREAKING: Henry “Joe” Lizotte, Jr., a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, has passed away at the age of 82 on October 30, 2025. His family has announced memorial services set for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Dracut Funeral Home in Dracut, Massachusetts.
Joe leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Elaine (Grimard), along with three sons—Steven, Jeffrey, and Gregory—and their spouses. He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply.
Born on September 9, 1943, in Lowell’s Little Canada neighborhood, Joe was a figure of love and loyalty, known for his adventurous spirit and strong family values. He met Elaine at a house party shortly after graduating from Lowell Trade School in 1962. Joe dedicated his life to his family, taking immense pride in the accomplishments and values of his sons.
The family shared that Joe’s life was defined by “love, laughter, loyalty, and adventure.” In lieu of flowers, they request donations be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
The memorial service will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM, with a short prayer service scheduled for approximately 12:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut.
